Dit is een veel gestelde vraag door (nieuwe) klanten van Apex Dynamics. Om tot een goede keuze te komen zijn er dan twee belangrijke vragen om te beantwoorden. In de praktijk maken mensen vaak een keuze tussen een kegelwielkast en een wormwiel tandwielkast. (De hypo\u00efde variant laten we even buiten beschouwing.) Ook deze afwegingen bespreken we in dit artikel zodat u zelf tot een duidelijke keuze kan komen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Holle as tandwielkast kiezen<\/h2>\n<p>Bij Apex Dynamics komt vaak de vraag binnen \u201cWe willen een tandwielkast met holle as, welke moet ik kiezen? Op zich is dit een logische vraag, echter om tot een goede keuze te komen hebben we meer gegevens nodig. In feite zijn er maar 2 vragen nodig om de goede serie(s) te bepalen. Wil je hem doorlopend hebben, dan is de uitgaande trap van de tandwielkast altijd haaks. Met andere woorden door klemming, persing of krimping worden de delen aan elkaar verbonden. Deze overbrenging is altijd spelingsvrij. De kracht wordt dan overgedragen door de vorm van het drijvende en aangedreven object. Bekende voorbeelden hiervan zijn bijvoorbeeld klinken en spiebanen. Het lage rendement in combinatie met de relatief dure (servo)aandrijving is volgens ons geen optimale combinatie. In de praktijk is het zelfs vaak wat vreemd. Je kiest over het algemeen namelijk voor een servomotor om nauwkeurig te positioneren, anders kon je ook gewoon een draaistroommotor nemen met encoder terugkoppeling. We zien tegelijkertijd dat er vaak een krachtigere (dus duurdere) servomotor en driver genomen moet worden om het slechte rendement te compenseren. Oftewel, de combinatie van een servomotor en een wormwielkast is onlogisch. Het is vaak interessanter om te kiezen voor een kegelwiel tandwielkast.<\/p>\n<p>De belangrijkste overwegingen om te kiezen voor een wormwiel- of kegelwiel tandwielkast:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wrijving en slijtage &#8211; De tandwielen in een kegelwielkast rollen over elkaar, hierdoor is er minder wrijving en dus een hoger rendement. De tandwielen van een wormwieloverbrenging glijden over elkaar, wat wrijving en slijtage veroorzaakt.<\/li>\n<li>Aanschafprijs \u2013 Een wormwielkast is in veel gevallen goedkoper om te produceren en heeft doorgaans dus een lagere aanschafprijs dan een kegelwiel tandwielkast.<\/li>\n<li>Een wormwielkast kan een mate van zelfremmendheid hebben. Dit is echter voor CE-richtlijn niet toegestaan, die vereist een aparte mechanische rem.<\/li>\n<li>Nauwkeurigheid, een kegelwielkast heeft een lage, blijvende speling. Van een wormwielkast loopt de speling vrij door de wrijving op en is in sommige gevallen nastelbaar.<\/li>\n<li>Rendement &#8211; De efficiency van een wormwielkast bij een grote overbrengverhouding ligt bij ca 50%, een kegelwiel tandwielkast heeft in een vergelijkbare situatie een efficiency van &gt;90%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Welke holle as tandwielkast past het best bij uw applicatie?
