Disc coupling

The D-series, named after the English word ‘Disc’, is a high-quality servo coupling that transmits torque without play and at the same time absorbs misalignment. The coupling offers extreme torsional stiffness, but remains flexible and is designed to withstand high speeds and temperatures. The shaft can be secured by means of 1 or 2 radial clamping bolts (with or without keyway) or with a clamping ring that is tightened axially. The couplings can transmit up to 3,000 Nm on clamping force alone (so without keyway). Combinations are possible, so for example on 1 side with a clamping bolt, on the other side with a clamping ring.
